RICHARD CHEW (Editor) is an Academy-Award winner for his work as co-editor on the 1977 release "Star Wars." He was also nominated for an Oscar and honored with a British Academy Award for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," and took home a British Academy Award with Walter Murch for "The Conversation."
Chew's additional credits include "That Thing You Do!," "Waiting to Exhale" for Forest Whitaker, "Mi Vida Loca," "Singles," "Men Don't Leave," "Clean and Sober," "Streets of Gold," "Creator," "Real Genius," "Risky Business," "My Favorite Year" and "Goin' South."
He began his career in documentaries and in 1967 worked as a cameraman and editor on "The Redwoods," which won the Academy Award for Best Short Documentary.
