 | STEVE MINER (Director) is a key figure in the history of the modern thriller, but has also worked in a wide range of other genres. That diversity is reflected in his activities over the past two years: After producing and directing the pilot and first-season episodes of the hit television series "Dawson's Creek," Miner directed the successful thriller Halloween: H20. He also recently directed the pilot of Kevin Williamson's new ABC series "Wasteland," debuting this fall, and is currently directing Texas Rangers, a period western starring James Van Der Beek and Dylan McDermott.
Miner began his career as an independent film director, and helped launch one of the most popular movie franchises, the Friday the 13th series (He went on to direct the second and third chapters in the series, the latter in 3-D). In addition, Miner also directed House, which was New World Pictures' top-grossing film of all time. | |
