VIVICA A. FOX is Maxine, the middle sister whose strength is evident in her loving relationships with her husband and children.

Fox made a strong impression with moviegoers everywhere with her performance in the box-office smash Independence Day, which marked her starring debut in a feature film and was released by Twentieth Century Fox. Most recently starring in the comedy Booty Call and the action-drama Set It Off, Fox has also appeared in the features Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, A Lowdown Dirty Shame and Born on the Fourth of July.

Fox's television credits include a starring role in the sitcom "Arsenio," guest appearances on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" (opposite "ID4" co-star Will Smith), "The Watcher," "Family Matters," "Matlock," "Beverly Hills 90210" and "China Beach." She had a recurring role on the daytime drama "The Young and the Restless" and was a series regular on "Living Dolls," "Generations," "In the House" and "Out All Night." Her stage work includes "In the Abyss of Coney Island," and "Generations of the Dead" at Los Angeles' Taper Too.
