British composer GEORGE FENTON (Music) is one of today's most prolific and distinguished motion picture composers. A five-time Oscar-nominee (for "Gandhi," "Dangerous Liaisons," "The Fisher King" and "Cry Freedom"), Fenton is also an Emmy winner (for "China: Beyond the Clouds").
   Fenton has composed the scores for almost 40 films, 110 television shows and 40 theatrical productions. His recent scores include "The Crucible," "Carla's Song," "Multiplicity" and "In Love and War." Upcoming motion picture scores include "The Woodlanders," based on Thomas Hardy's novel.
   Fenton began his career writing music for Britain's Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre. He then became a prolific composer for British television, winning three BAFTA awards for best original TV music.
